RE: [DISCUSSION] Forum Reorganization - Roavin - 08-31-2019 First and foremost with the support of the community and then only in consultation with the other admins. I'm not going to change anything unilaterally and my role in this thread is primarily as a member of the community rather than an admin. Ewwwww, 'support of the community' is such a democratic thing to say, ewwwww RE: [DISCUSSION] Forum Reorganization - USoVietnam - 09-01-2019 We should place the SPSF out in the layout. CRS and LC subforums are too inactive for the front place so it may be worth it to group them into something like "other institutions". The space can be filled by bringing some ministries which use the forum actively such as SPSF to the front. RE: [DISCUSSION] Forum Reorganization - Roavin - 11-09-2019 Alright, I've taken the liberty of moving this thread to the Op Center and want to restart the discussions. I'm still of the opinion that a nice way to go about it is a combination of Amerion's proposal with my suggested changes, with a few additional notes. First, Amerion's "Docklands Information Centre" would probably be the successor to the current Announcements forum, and would have things like current government officials and such pinned. Second, the "Civic and Political Organization" forum could probably be done away with entirely, though we still need to consider where the WA forums (that have recently become active again - all praise the Slab) should go. RE: [DISCUSSION] Forum Reorganization - Amerion - 11-20-2019 Hmmm, that is indeed a tough question. I think based on the overview of the reorganisation, it would either go in Waterpark Central or wherever NationStates Discussion Centre is eventually located. RE: [DISCUSSION] Forum Reorganization - Amerion - 11-24-2019 *pokes* Are there any other matters which should be addressed? RE: [DISCUSSION] Forum Reorganization - Aga - 11-24-2019 Could we insert a The South Pacific Education Sub-forum somewhere? We're running MoRA projects, so it may be useful. I'll have content ready in the next few days. RE: [DISCUSSION] Forum Reorganization - Qwert - 11-24-2019 I think the subforum South Pacific University could be removed and the threads moved to the parent forum (or at least it could renamed). The threads that it contains aren't educational in the way that the name suggests. Regarding the "opaque black box to be included in the overall structure" (i.e. the possible new structure of the roleplay subforums), a final draft can be found here. RE: [DISCUSSION] Forum Reorganization - Roavin - 02-15-2020 Here's what I'm currently thinking: South Pacific Interregional Seaport
Lampshade District
Fudgetopia Government Center
TREASURE ISLAND HALL OF HISTORICAL RECORDS RE: [DISCUSSION] Forum Reorganization - Amerion - 02-15-2020 Quote:Individual media forums are merged into just one flat forum, though the media outlets may get custom forum prefixes for their threads Blasphemy!!! (It all looks fine. Who is Mavenu?) |
