On Citizenship Masking and Voting
The Chair of the Assembly has resolved to allow Citizens who have had their citizenship applications accepted but have not yet been masked as citizens to vote via Private Message.
In accordance with Article 2.11 of the Charter of the South Pacific
Quote:11. Voting and being elected to an office under the Coalition of The South Pacific shall be rights afforded only to citizens the Chair of the Assembly is satisfied that persons who have had their citizenship applications approved by the Vice Delegate have fulfilled all necessary requirements to be granted citizenship, barring exceptional circumstances as detailed in Article 2.3 of the Charter of the South Pacific. Citizens who meet the above criteria should be notified of voting procedures by the Office of the Chair of the Assembly shortly.
