Transitional Government Facing Unrecognition

The Transitional Government has now had 3 refusals to recognize it from 3 incredibly large regions: the Rejected Realms, Lazarus, and Spititus. They have all encouraged their allies to do the same and we should expect further statements as time goes on. Nations within TSP are welcoming these statements as showing that Hileville is corrupt and can no longer be trusted in as delegate. Hileville has said that he Kris have come to a compromise that they were hoping to release today but, due to action taken by TSP members it may not be released. TSP is in a very risky position right now and no one knows what's going to happen next

Editor's note: SPN is not affiliated with any political organization. SPN also fully supports regional stability in TSP and really want everyone to get along.

RE: SPN - Kris Kringle - 03-05-2016

I...don't understand. You're resigning this newspaper and hoping to recreate it under the Ministry of Regional Affairs? Why don't you just keep working on this one and save yourself the complication? O.o

RE: SPN - Omega - 03-05-2016

I have deleted the post Kris. What you said makes sense. I hope to continue and I should be more active during the great council.

RE: SPN - Kris Kringle - 03-05-2016

If you do need guidance with news writing, perhaps you could try joining the Media Office of the Ministry of Regional Affairs. That could help you get some experience.

Format Change

Hello TSP! Omega here host of SPN. I have, after talking with experts (Kris) decided on a change for SPN. Every weekend I will post a short opinion based article on what has gone on in the past week. Then throughout the week I will deliver short breaking news style articles with about a paragraph on analysis.

I will begin focusing more on regional government and politics (Parties, Ministries, the Assembly, Cabinet, High Court and upcoming Great Council.). I'm hoping this will allow me to become (over time) a master at this style and topic of writing.

I am very excited for this new chapter of SPN and I hope you will join for me for it.
-Omega

Note: If you have any news or requests to make of SPN feel free to PM. I will try to respond when I get the chance.

Great Council Begins

The First Great Council of 2016 began earlier tonight. As this is a relatively new development we can expect more on this later. We will be launching somewhat in depth coverage following the passage of a procedural resolution. Please stay tuned.

Get Ready for Greatness

Welcome to State of the Region here on SPN. I'm Omega and I will be your host for today. The First Great Council of 2016 has officially been called. Currently a procedural resolution is under debate and we expect it to be voted on in the near future. The purpose of this Great Council is to review the Charter as a whole and look at writing a completely new one. Citizens all have differing ideas on what they would like to see in a new Charter so we can expect some healthy, robust debate over the next few weeks.
In other news Sam111 faced a recall motion to get him off the Committee for State Security. A motion to recall him was under vote in the Assembally after he aided in overthrowing the Coalition during the 2016 Coup. The motion to recall him did fail, however a majority voted in favor (60%). In light of the fact that this had caused divide he issued an which has helped to understand for all people what was happening at the executive level during the Coup. I would like to personally thank Sam111 for his apology as it has helped me know that those who did they what they did thought it was for the good of all. I am looking forward to your return.

That's all for this week's State of the Region here on SPN. Stay tuned for breaking news updates and SOR next week. For SPN I'm Omega wishing you a good week.

Editor's note: I will be out untill Thursday. Expect no updates untill then unless somehow I get internet.
