Breaking: compromise legislation on treaty dissolution proposed by outgoing MoFA Glen. The legislation titled the "Treaties Act" does provides a separate procedure for a breach in terms of a treaty and for the procedure of simply wanting to end one. the Chair has stated that there is no minimum debate requirement.

Breaking: APC becomes the first party in more than a year to propose a piece of legislation to the Assembly. Legislation regards splitting of MoRA into two separate ministries, one for culture and one for communication.

Breaking News: Farengeto has been nominated to be the next Permanent Justice on the High Court. This follows the resignation of Lord Ravenclaw. The confirmation debate is underway in the Assembly. We will not be shocked if a vote on disapproval is called. As this is developing quickly we will try to keep you updated.
Update (3:27 GMT): A disapproval vote will be held unless the motion is withdrawn.

A little over an hour ago the Security Powers Act was voted into law. It provides sweeping new powers to the Council on Regional Security. The law primarily drafted by Cormac Stark.
