"Ni Hao! It is a pleasure to finally meet you at last. I am The Peony, welcome to my humble abode, please come in. Take off your shoes before entry, please."

After the delegation entered, The Peony lead them to the room.

"My house is not the best nor the largest, one could say that perhaps it is unbefitting of a Nuwang. I apologize if it's a bit small."

The delegation passed a corridor, on their right is a small doctor's office.

"Ah beg pardon, that's where I practice. If you wish to be examined your excellencies, please."

The Peony led them to a room, and slid open the door. It was a cozy room built from bamboo with a view to the small courtyard. The wind blew the windchime to create such a serene sound, coupled with the sound of flowing water. There was no airconditioning, the wind that blew in was enough.

There were no chairs, there were only cushions. Cushions and a low table, following their asian roots.

"I apologize, this may not be as fancy and extravagant as other meetings honorable Chancellor, but we'll make it as comfortable for you as much as possible."

The sound of the kettle is heard, and The Peony ordered one of her guardians to get the tea.

"Now, let us sit down, how are you liking our country so far?"

"I must say, it is a beautiful country."

RE: Qvait-Huawan Megatunnel Opening - Hammerstar - 04-28-2017

"Thank you, we strive for it, the United Kingdom is an amazing country as well, I am intrigued by its stout and firm policies."

The Peony got the tea and poured everyone the beverage.

"I beg your pardon, it is my home, and I am your host, it is a custom that the host are to pour the tea for the guests and beyond. Speaking of which, perhaps there is something that we could discuss? Honorable Chancellor?"

RE: Qvait-Huawan Megatunnel Opening - Jay Coop - 04-28-2017

"Thank you for the tea. I was thinking about our two countries forming an intergovernmental law enforcement agency that can oversee the activity that occurs on our shared border. With the opening of this tunnel, there is bound to be unlawful activity such as the smuggling of contraband or human trafficking. I believe that it would be necessary for us to cooperate in this field to make sure that our two countries have the same task in mind."

RE: Qvait-Huawan Megatunnel Opening - Hammerstar - 05-02-2017

"What makes you say that unlawful activity would come from our borders?" Asked The Peony, intrigued, "we have not have a history of it, and crime is incredibly low here."

RE: Qvait-Huawan Megatunnel Opening - Jay Coop - 05-02-2017

"In no way am I trying to insinuate that, but I am interested in greater security cooperation between our two countries and in the region. There will be those who will seek to take advantage of this tunnel, whether they be from within our two countries or not, and they will hurt us if they succeed. That is my concern."

RE: Qvait-Huawan Megatunnel Opening - Hammerstar - 05-02-2017

"Tolls and customs offices would still be established even though the signing of an open border treaty is done, which was never completed between us. It is not in our agenda to make this security too strict and that an agency should not be made, rather a clause that enable an easy cooperation between both of our security organizations."

"If I may ask so boldly, is this a relation with what I read in the morning newspaper? Of a certain politician's stance on this tunnel?"

RE: Qvait-Huawan Megatunnel Opening - Jay Coop - 05-02-2017

"I presume you are talking about Nicole Chancellor. As you may know, democracy is a tough thing. Democracy requires deliberation between government and opposition, but I agree with you. Let's allow for easier cooperation between our security apparatuses."

Qvait-Huawan Megatunnel Opening - Hammerstar - 05-02-2017

"Assure not madam Chancellor, I would not think that a person who truly wishes to come to power would be so brash about her future counterpart and its people should they actually come to power."

"While democracy may hold the tenet of free speech so dearly, lest not forget of the responsibility and the consequences of ones actions that follow."

"Yeah, she's crazy. I've never seen anyone like her in my lifetime rise the position of power that she currently holds, I assure you that. It's a sad sight that politics in my country is becoming much, much more poisonous. Leaders of most other countries have an opposition that is respectful and is willing to cooperate with the party or coalition in power. This opposition is the opposite. I personally believe that she is dangerous. She may look like someone who will never win the highest office of the land, but if people like me take that for granted, she wins. First and foremost, it is my duty to make sure that people like her don't hold that office. I failed once before when I thought that she wouldn't become the Leader of the Opposition. I cannot underestimate her anymore. These next few weeks are going to be hectic with a legislative election certain to occur on 11 June."

"You must know that if she ever takes my place as Chancellor, she will close this tunnel. She will close everything. She will turn on the UK's allies. She will turn on everyone. She wants to build an Empire. This is the 21st century and she is talking about building an empire! Insane. I thought that dealing with the Conservative Party was a hassle, but that is nothing compared to these nationalists. There's a saying: you never know how much you miss something until it's gone. This is not the opposition I wanted, but this the opposition that I have. God save us all if she ever becomes the leader of my country…but enough about her. Let's celebrate the new link between our two countries."
