(OOC: I thought we were going to use the more modern maglev, which is fast and environment-friendly. It's the little things.)

(OOC: Huawan doesn't have maglev, and since this tunnel is also a freighter you know. Huawan is not that rich, unlike others.)

(OOC: Oh yeah, I forgot about that. One day, we will revisit this for upgrades,)

Chancellor Margaret Harrison said, "I love it. This tunnel is a great step in the right direction for our two countries. It will bring nothing but economic prosperity for the both of us."

"It took quite a challenge in ventilation and purification of this tunnel. Fans draw air in from the entrance, and expel the bad air through the vents. As a matter of fact, to make the Mikotoba tunnel better ventilated, we have an air treatment located high up the mountains, expelling dust and nitrogen from the air drawn from the fan." Responded Diao Chan.

"The lead architect from the Peocracy was quite determined to work with the Qvaiticans, he talked with great promise of this tunnel, even taking into consideration the psychology! Can you imagine that, taking note of the claustrophobia, weariness and tiredness. For example, he employed the use of blue fluorescent lights in the top and yellow lights in the bottom, the depiction of sunrise psychologically would make drivers less sleepy."

"I recall he was quite troubling for the Qvaitican architects.."

"Once more, we duly apologize for his eccentric behavior. But indeed, there's a surprise we would like to unveil, We're sure you're already aware of it from the reports, but here it is."

The train sped up towards what looked like an exit, for outside of it, was a cave of masterpiece.

"An immense cave, we were going to close it, but upon realising that it's filled with critically endangered glow worms, we decided to instead make this a place so that people can also observe the beauty of this tunnel. The water are also filled with bioluminescent planktons to shine the water, this natural masterpiece can also be used to reap profits from tourism." Said The Peony, "Our geologists and engineers have made safety precautions as well. We have also made precautions ensuring that despite unwanted events such as earthquakes, explosions, and things of a sort, the tunnel path would be safe."

As the Peony gazed up, she noticed how beautiful the country bestowed upon her was, she never took into account what is under.

"Indeed, our creator is one of the greatest architects."

Afterwards, she noticed she was zoning out and addressed her honorable guests.

"Oh dear I must've rambled on, apologies for being so uncouth."

Chancellor Margaret Harrison said, "It's pretty cool."

The Peony saw that the Qvaitican delegation's modest amount of words, and felt it lacking. She wonders on wether the results are not pleasing, or are they just the type of people who are not chatty. Then again however, the Chancellor herself was indeed quite chatty about her opposition last night. Perhaps it was the press conference before.

The Peony's reaction was readable, and she, along with several people in her entourage, were left to think about the Chancellor's reaction, and what can they do to make them more active.
