I travel back in time and change past so that I create a new separate timeline where I have more bags so we both win but in separate timelines.

I create a machine that tags one bag as the original bag and hunts down all of the other bags, terminator-style.
Unfortunately, that means I end up with the bag. I leave it on a park bench inconspicuously for the next poster to find.

I end up finding it and removes the tag that labels it the real bag.
Then I pass a law that incinerates all other bags except for the real bag (which I have) and shuts down all bag manufacturing companies
