Pokemon Day Battle Mechanics - Hammerstar - 02-20-2020 Ah sorry, I didn't see you there. POKEMON DAY BATTLE MECHANICS Welcome to the Pokemon Day battle mechanics guideline, I'm Professor Kane, Battle professor around these parts. I'm here to introduce you on how you're going to start battling Gym leaders, and each other here. First of all, you should have your trainer card with you. This comes in the form of Gym Passes, which makes you eligible to challenge gym leaders and become champion! click here to register yourself. So the next thing you need to do is contact the Gym Leader and make an appointment, keep in mind that our gym leaders live across the globe, and will need to fly to their gyms in order to open them. So post a message in their gym to make an appointment, and don't forget to contact them first before challenging. While waiting, you can build your team. Now I managed to build a certain platform which would allow you to battle gym leaders, and yourself. It's called Pokemon Showdown, some of you may already be acquainted with this platform, you could either download it on windows or play it on your device. I have no idea how it'll work on android, but I much prefer you use this in PC. https://pokemonshowdown.com/ By now you could either download or play it directly in your browser. Choose your name, and after that, click team building. Click New Team Select Format, due to the unique way Sword and Shield is made, you aren't allowed to choose a team outside the Galar dex. Therefore, look on the bottom left and click national dex, that way you are able to make such a diverse set of team. Click add pokemon This is the pokemon building platform. Choose which pokemon that you want to get, I choose Arcanine. Next, you can choose the item and ability that you need. Afterwards, you can choose the set of moves that will compliment your pokemon. Click on the stats, and it will enable you to edit the IV, EV and nature of your pokemon. Now for Pokemon Showdown, the standard level of pokemon that you will battle, and battle with, is about 100. Reduce for a handicap, or for strategy. Continue building your team, once you're satisfied, click back Once you have your team, click validate to check if there is something you are using illegally. Or forgot something By this time, you should wait until the gym leader or a trainer accepts your challenge. You can play with random players outside the region, but to connect with a specific person, click find type the name. If they are online, you should be able to challenge them After a team is chosen, you'll be thrown in the battle sequence. Teams and moves are below, click your starting pokemon and click your moves.
