***QUESTION*** on masking - QuietDad - 07-21-2014

This is a question, not a request. Does myBB have submasking requests? For example, If I were to open the SPSF (or what ever it becomes) to non-citizens, can a person be masked to see and participate in the South Pacific Special Forces forum while retaining the limitations of being just a registered user? Again, I'm just thinking out load here. This is NOT a statement of intent, a preview of things to come, or anything. I'm just exploring what options are out there.

From a technical standpoint, I believe that would be possible.

Just asking. I'm assuming that my mask as General, let's say, has privileges of a citizen PLUS access to the SPSF forum. Or are two masks applied, one citizen mask and one SPSF mask?

Usually all citizens keep their citizen masks. If you have an appointed or elected office, then citizenship is kept as a secondary mask. That being said, your first guess is correct: General has all privileges of citizen plus access to the SPSF forum. That happens with all office masks, they have citizen privileges plus those of their position.
