2016 in America

Largest number I've heard for the Washington Square rally is 150k. Probably won't know the real number until the event is over, I'll update if I hear anything larger.

Didn't you ignore the last person who tried to refute your arguments on Bernie?

You took the words out of my mouth.

Alright. The numbers for the Washington Square Park rally from the campaign is saying that about 30k people showed up, however, the NYPD is saying that almost 50k people were there. That's the extent of my available info.

Another reason I wouldn't vote for Sanders is because of the kind of language his supporters use. e.g. "whore" and "a uterus doesn’t qualify you to be president" especially when said campaign defended the last comment.

To Kris, as I have said before I'm pasted that stage so we can have a proper debate like adults or we can bring up old quotes about each other. If anything I think your afraid to debate this so your trying to draw the conversation away from Sanders and Clinton and to old stupid things I once said.

1. Campaign backed off from the "whore" thing, and the guy who said it almost immediately apologized on Twitter.

2. Genetalia, in this case a Uterus, doesn't qualify you for president. What's your point?

3. A Clinton campaigner said on Twitter that there was a "Hate Rally" in Washington Square Park last night. Sanders' dad was a Jewish Holocaust survivor. I haven't seen an apology for that. Then there was the whole "C.P. Time" thing. She shifted the blame to De Blasio, but, there's no way that "joke" wasn't vetted by the Campaign. No Apology for that either. If you're going to be angry and spout about that, you'd better hold your candidate accountable as well.

I'm not an American. I have no stake in the Sanders-Clinton debate. In fact, US elections are secondary to my more immediate concerns: the presidential runoff in Peru. I just think it's disingenuous for you to say you want a serious debate, when the last time someone engaged you your response was to blatantly ignore their arguments.

1. Fair enough but remember the crowd cheered him, you don't see Clinton supporters calling Sanders a ...... and then cheering it.
                                                                                                                                                                                                   2. It was clearly sexist.
                                                                                                                                                                                                  3. Yes the difference is that was a tweet by someone who no one has heard of. The Sanders ones are at rallies ran by the Sanders campaign and are then cheered. On the C.P thing that was shown to be a private joke.

I'm also not an American, yet I'm debating this. Currently I'm more concerned about the Scottish Parliamentary election and the EU Referendum. I think it's disingenuous for you to attack me and then refuse to debate me. You clearly cared enough to have a wee jab at me yet when push you suddenly aren't interested due to more pressing matters.

1. Your right. I don't see Hillary Supporters calling Sanders a "..." I see them calling him a Misogynist, a Racist, Sexist, things that he obviously isn't but they say it anyway.
2. It's now sexist to say that Genitalia doesn't Qualify you to be President? To say that GENDER isn't a qualifying factor? That your Gender shouldn't be a defining factor when it comes to an election? What has the world come to?
3. I'd never heard of Paul Song(The guy who did the "Democratic Whores" thing) but that doesn't justify what he said. If not hearing of someone who's a part of a campaign makes it justified not to give an apology, then I guess Trump's going to win because he likes to Pretend he hasn't heard of the people who support him either.

And people apologize for things they do in Private all the time. Hell, Elliot Spitzer(Former Governor of NY) resigned because he cheated on his wife. Once it's out there, it's out there. If you do something wrong these days, you'd better be prepared to apologize or make amends, because that's how the world works. Things can be "Meant to be Private" all the time but that's just not how the world works thanks to the Internet. You'd better be prepared to deal with it.
