After long deliberation, it has been decided that Bzerneleg's first address to the Assembly as Chair will occur at 00:00 (UTC) on Monday, April 7, 2019. The day he makes his speech will mark an end to his first month in office and a start to his second. The address will tackle major events and issues facing not just the Assembly, but also the government of The South Pacific as a whole. Chair Bzerneleg's new vision for the Assembly and the transformation of its role in the government will serve as the two main themes of the Inaugural Address.
