Agenda for Event Planning

by Phoenix
02/ 11 / 19

Overview
The Event Planning department of the Ministry of Regional Affairs shall plan events throughout the year in order to engage citizens of the region of The South Pacific to encourage region-wide amity and unity. This will be accomplished by festivals and contests.

This agenda is subject to change.

November 2019-
  • November 1-5: Chess Tournament
5 days of chess battling to determine a winner

  • November 14-?: Ejection Contest
You create a nation, plonk it into a region and not answer any issues. The person with the lowest stats each hour gets ejected.  Roll calls and minigames will be played for the duration of this event.
  • November 21-25: Autumn Celebration
A small festival with an art contest, a leaf market, some games, and a final “feast”

December 2019-
  • Advent Calendar
  • December 10-14: December Music Festival
Musically-inclined people can share music, comment on music, talk music, and play music-related games
    (moved to February)
  • December 21: Winter Solstice Celebration
A short celebration celebrating the shortest day of the year with some games

January 2020-
  • January 13-17: TSP RP Showcase
An event where the RP nations put together a presentation about their nations and an “awards ceremony” of sorts can happen. Other nations can be encouraged to claim a plot on the map and start playing as well, with the help of the established RPers

  • January 29-February 1: Art Showcase
TSP shares their art! A contest with a theme can happen as well where a panel of judges chooses one artwork to select.

February 2020-
  • February 1-5: TSP Music Festival
TSP will share their love for music!  A great opportunity to find new songs to listen to, and for musicians to share their musical love via an original music contest.
  • February 3-15: TSP Valentines Day
People can share heart and candy emotes with each other in a spam contest, a more thoughtful “wall” can
be written to TSP and/or specific people.

  • February 27-29: Leap Year Celebration
Some games to celebrate that 2020 is a leap year and that there is a February 29 this year.
