Criminal Complaint (charge someone with a crime under the Criminal Code) [1902] Nakari v. North Prarie and Concrete Slab
#21

HIGH COURT OF THE SOUTH PACIFIC
[1902.HC] NAKARI V. NORTH PRARIE AND CONCRETE SLAB
SUBMISSION 12 FEBRUARY 2019 | PROBABLE CAUSE 12 FEBRUARY 2019 | VERDICT 23 OCTOBER 2020

Whereas this Court has found Concrete Slab guilty of the crimes of bribery and contempt of court and must now be given a sentence proportionate to the severity of the crimes, this Court finds that said sentence should be as follows:

Owing to the extended period of time elapsed between the indictment and the verdict, as well as the distinct lack of unlawful or questionable behaviour in that time on the part of the convicted party, Concrete Slab is censured for their unlawful behaviour but shall face no further penalty.

Should Concrete Slab or any other party know of any reason why this sentence should not be given as initially found, they are invited to present their reasons before this Court no later than 31 October 2020 10:00 UTC.

It is so ordered.
