Oh, but there is Kris

Enough WA nations support a Delegate that ignores the forum.

If such an arrangement comes about because the forum based government is shown to be  reluctant to consider respecting the wishes, and realities of the game-based region, how much sympathy could it expect in the event of a coup? The Coalition only narrowly garnered enough support from around NS to repel Milograds coup, when the environment was radically different.

Fail to adapt now and perhaps the support that was drummed up last time will not be so readily forthcoming.
By refusing to approach these proposals in a conciliatory and open minded fashion the Coalition would come off as oppressive and anti-democracy, removing the central rallying cry from last time.

In such a debacle those who in the wider NS polity who may harbour  sympathy toward the Coalition might well regard the situation as a pure power grab, and reluctant to be seen to support the Ancien Regime.

Those who oppose the Coalition and wish to see it fall would no doubt relish the idea of bringing it down by supporting a rebellion that advocates democracy, no doubt reveling in the irony that the very body that championed democracy was toppled by its refusal to embrace it.

I'll continue the French Revolution metaphor started by Ditortilla.
There are three groups in TSP. The first group are the administrators and members of government: they run the forums and have a huge amount of influence on the government. The second group are the political participants: they are the ones active in the political forums and have a lot of influence and power. The third group is everyone else; some WA nations, but many not.
Students of history will recognize the similarities to the atmosphere before the French Revolution (the three estates metaphor: clergy, nobility, and commoners). And hopefully they know what happened next.
(hint hint: After a few years of various weak governments, Maximilien Robespierre and the Committee of Public Safety seized power and ushered in the Reign of Terror. Historians estimate that as many as 40,000 people were killed. And a few years after that, Napoleon seized power.)
