Demilitarization was a controversial debate that hasn’t been settled and may see a resurgence if the SPSF’s activity wanes. Along that same vein, there was a proposal to eliminate the Minister of the Army position altogether. That proposal may come back to life in debates surrounding the number of elected positions in the region. Finally, with the Local Council seen by many as a failure, you might see Glen-Rhodes’ Minister of Gameside Affairs rise from the dead.

... seems full of opinion and unsubstantiated speculation. It's also possible that the NPO is going to ride in and take the delegate's seat. But the likelihood of it are slim.

It's all unsubstantiated speculation, isn't it? Farengeto's said he hasn't had much time to think about the Great Council. But considering the state of the Local Council, and the desire some players still have for integration, I wouldn't rule out me bringing back my Minister of Gameside Affairs proposal! After all, of all the options discussed during the bicameralism debate, it was the most popular.

I don't know if I'd bring up demilitarization again. I still think it would be the best thing for the region, aside from going full-on defender.  :tounge: But I'm also feeling more pragmatic nowadays, and my suspicion is that Henn did just enough during his last term to beat away criticisms of the SPSF.
