I am delighted to announce that, following the recent change in foreign policy, the Democratic Republic of Erinor has purchased a number of properties, former stately mansions, situated on Vallano Parlid*, Cata pulea**, Ciria, to be used as embassies. Any nation in the South Pacific wishing to develop closer ties to Erinor, may apply to occupy one of these new embassies.

Vallano Parlid is a beautiful circular plaza containing sculptures and gardens. Built as part of Cata pulea in the 19th Century, it contains a blend of the neo-gothic (such as seen in the palatial Mena Parlid, Erinor's Seat of Governement and home of our upper and lower houses of parliament) and neo-varsan architecture, a style unique to Erinor, which harks back to antiquity and the civilisation known as Khera Varsad. Many of the buildings around the plaza contain a tasteful blending of both styles.

Because of the layout of Vallano Parlid, any building chosen would have a good view of the Mena Parlid and of the Khardar Tyavod National Park, which begins immediately behind the Mena grounds and which is a must-visit location for anyone who enjoys mountain hiking, nature walks, or sightseeing, thanks to hundreds of trails of various difficulties and many ancient ruins of the Khera Varsad.

Ciria itself is a medium-sized city of just over a million citizens, known for its ancient and historic architecture, its modern banking district and the many beautiful canals that run through the Cata pulea and the Cata vanyea*** (the oldest surviving part of the city, built mostly during the 13th and 14th Centuries), which channel the tributaries and headwaters of the Qassar Syiranad down out of the mountains. Other sites of interest include the 12th Century castle of King Syarkho Qenarid and its many stylised dragon sculptures and the Mena Tacirid, the Temple of Creation, the central place of worship for followers of the Revara and home to the Hrasyin Amlassal who govern them.
