For the record, if there's any slobbiness with DM's application, blame me. This was posted for the CRS as a more informal post and I sent it up to the forum with little editing/cleanup.

To Punch and Roavin's point — DM has been acting as the CSS head since his election as VD. And, we also need some new nations on the CRS, since we're starting to get pretty low.

Regarding the application process overall — I imagine it'll work a bit more like who the delegate selection did. When a CRS member sees someone who qualifies, they'll probably reach out and ask them to apply. There might be other instances, but I imagine that's how something like this will ultimately work.
