I support this nomination, for the record. DM helped during the coup, and remained loyal to the legitimate government the whole time. My only hesitance is that I would prefer he not be a member until after his term as Prime Minister is over, because the CRS and the Prime Minister may have overlapping portfolios and I don't know yet how that's going to play out. Which brings me to a tangential point: I think it's counterintuitive that the PM could ever be "over" the endocap. I think the CRS should clarify how tight or lax the cap is, and who it really applies to.

Regarding applications, I don't think it should be a process where the powers that be have to reach out first. The Charter says people can apply after the meet the requirements, and that allows people who wouldn't otherwise be on the radar to show their interest. It really should be about the application, rather than some other criteria that can't be written down.
