GRANTING BORDER CONTROL POWERS TO DRYSTAR

29 December 2021

Fellow South Pacificans,

The Council on Regional Security is hereby authorising the Admiral Delegate General to grant Drystar with the regional officer power of Border Control for the duration of their term as Local Councillor. This is in response to a series of unique circumstances that necessitate more timely responses to gameside events on the Regional Message Board. The Council appreciates that this is an irregular commission and underscores that this appointment should not be misconstrued as setting a precedent for future assignments.

The commission is in accordance with Section 3 of the Regional Officers Act which stipulates:

(2) The Council on Regional Security may grant Border Control powers to regional members as they see fit.

The Council is confident Drystar will exercise this authority in a responsible manner and reaffirms our commitment to assist the Local Council with their governance of gameside affairs.
