The Ministry of Foreign Affairs is the oldest ministry of the Coalition, and is the ministry responsible for determining foreign policy strategy and engaging diplomatically with other regions. The Minister of Foreign Affairs heads the ministry and is a primary member of the Cabinet's Foreign Affairs Council. 

The Ministry is organized into these roles:
Deputy Minister - Oversees specific portfolios within the ministry
Advisor - Advises the minister and Cabinet, without any specific responsibilities
Secretary of State - Manages a group of ambassadors
Ambassador - Represents TSP in a foreign region/organization

Personnel Announcement

@Qaweritoyu (Qaz) has been appointed Deputy Minister for Diplomatic Affairs. In this role, they will be responsible for the entirety of the diplomatic corps program, including selecting Secretaries of State and ambassadors. The appointment is immediate and will last through the term, renewable by the next Minister of Foreign Affairs following the June 2022 elections.

Embassy Closure Announcement

The following on-site embassies are being closed at this time, after discussion between the Minister of Foreign Affairs and the Prime Minister:

• Warzone Australia: Region has no established government or regular communication with the Coalition.
  
• Eniwhere: Region was established for RMB role play linkages but was never used.
  
• Government Island: Region was established for a Cabinet initiative but is no longer in use.
  
• The South Pacific WA Voting Center: Region was established to host OWL recommendation votes, but another method is now used for those votes.
  
• Albion: Region is inactive and has no meaningful communication with the South Pacific. The region's founder will be notified privately.
  
• Equilism: Region is inactive and has no meaningful communication with the South Pacific. The region's Delegate will be notified privately.
  
• PacificCon: Region was established for an interregional event but is no longer in use.
  
• South Pacific Trading Company: Embassy was established for a side project of several TSPers but is no longer in use.
