Premier Joseph Welt Captured At Grand Junction!

In a fierce battle last night, Premier Joseph Welt was captured by attacking UAF forces. Prime Minister Galen has called his capture one of the UAF finest success in the Civil War. When being hauled off by Emeraldian Military Police, he reportedly said "I will have my revenge you capitalist dogs!". It is now expected that the Denverian Soviet Republic should soon collapse after the loss of it's capital.

Apparent Loss Of ERNS Democracy LCS-002

Early this morning, contact was lost with Emeraldian Naval Ship Democracy LCS-002. The Democracy was patrolling international waters around where Operation:Crosswalk(OOC: The Emeraldian Nuclear Test) occurred before contact was lost with the vessel. The Ship has been declared MIA until has been found. Critics to the LCS program have pointed out that many of the LCS ships were produced of low quality and were somewhat unstable in rough seas. The Coast Guard has begun deploying its own vessels to search for the ship and its crew.
