Salaxalans Charges
#11

We might need to have a separate Penal Code specially designed for Mock Trials. It is at present, not possible to charge anyone with aggravated assault with a weapon/murder. much less 10 counts of it, 1 count of threatening to do so, 1 count of causing bodily harm, and one count of concealing evidence.

I don't think we need to go out of the way to draft a whole new Penal Code specifically for Mock Trials. I think it would be acceptable for us to just give him those charges, and we can worry about punishment later on. I appreciate the foresight, but because of the farcical nature of the Mock Trial, I don't know if it would be a good use of someone's time.

I have decided not to bring charges against The Salaxalans from the assaults on me to avoid the possibility of the need for a Recusal.

Since Gustave Berr is currently MIA one of us should probably take over in his absence and continue the case. We're already two weeks late.

I agree. We'd need to release a judgement on the Sovereignty of the Coalition question as well. Perhaps, Farengeto, can you be Acting Chief Justice?

Sure, I'll do what I can.
