Occupation of Fandom Alliance

On December 6 the South Pacific Special Forces joined the North Pacific Army and the Europeian Republican Navy in a mission to occupy a small founderless region called Fandom Alliance, with a North Pacific operative serving as the lead. Minister CrimsonTideFan highlighted the cooperation between the three militaries in a brief statement that same day.

While some celebrated the mission, there has been a negative reaction, most prominently from Unibot, who argued that conducting raids was detrimental to the reputation and good image of the South Pacific. Those who supported the operation countered that the South Pacific is not a defender region and is within its rights to raid other regions. A discussion was opened in the Assembly about the issue, that has since been moved to a citizens-only section of the forum, presumably the debate has continued there.

Following the end of the occupation, our Special Forces have stayed in Fandom Alliance to endorse the native delegate and return the region back to its original leaders, assisting in the refounding that the natives were already planning before the raid.
