I thought the season as a whole was disappointing.

I think the season as a whole could have been more coherent. Looking back, the whole thing with Russia and the UN feels like it was too detached from the primaries and Dunbar. I would have preferred to see a more coherent storyline about the efforts to pass AmWorks and how that affected the election.
Overall, a good season. Though it definitely could have been better. That said, the music was majestic. You need to admit that. Thoughts on the final scene and how it will impact S4? Former Delegate of the South Pacific

I preferred Season 3 to Season 2. I liked it a lot. I'm too tired to think of any really critical commentary though.
I'm a bit conflicted on that one. I did enjoy seeing Frank governing, since previously he spent more time plotting, rather than drafting bills or getting them passed. Even if everything he did in S3 still had some ulterior motive, it was nice to see him actually do his job.
That said, am I the only one who noticed how he was constantly losing control? The way he treated his Cabinet about AmWorks, Jackie over the primaries and Claire in the last episode would never have happened in previous seasons, where he seemed more together and in control.
