T: This should be added to the Fellowship Program, thanks.
-- Ministry of Foreign Affairs The Ministry of Foreign Affairs is the primary diplomatic outreach and cooperative Ministry which trains and oversees various envoys and diplomats which represent The South Pacific abroad at events, conferences and treaty discussions. There is also a team of staff who serve to advise the Minister and certain other groups on South Pacific foreign policy. There are two internal divisions of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs:
Associates Applications: All applicants for Associates are either involved in FA elsewhere, such as Tomb, or a part of RA. I don't want to take someone on and see them juggle various duties as it's not fair on Kris who will need their time and energy directed to his various subdepartments. So I'm not sure what to do here. -- Telegram for you Tsu: Hail friend, Eagleswing has asked me to telegram you today about the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and its recent recruitment drive to staff a new diplomatic service, as well as the new associates program. We're looking for front line diplomats who can carry The South Pacific's banner and uphold our reputation for diplomatic excellence - they must be willing to represent us in far-flung regions of NationStates and represent our government with honour as we expand our diplomatic frontiers and form new relationships. We're also looking for envoys to staff our various embassies and consulates. Does this sound like something you'd like to do? Contact Eagleswing and he'll help you get started! Regards, @Tsunamy, Delegate of the South Pacific -- Still waiting for the logo from Eluvatar for FA. Will poke.
I know this is your Office, but I figured you might want to know this, just for the record:
This is the spreadsheet with MoRA assignments., though some of these may change in the near future, due to a planned reorganization of assignments, based on who is actually participating more in which projects. However, you can use this to see if someone already has too many assignments in MoRA, or if they have just enough to handle a different Ministry too. I can add your text to the FP thread right now, if you want. Usually I check all applications and contact each applicant with all the information necessary. I give more specific information in the case of MoRA, and give them some basic contact information in other cases (Crimson for SPSF, Uni for CoA, etc.). Former Delegate of the South Pacific

Thanks for chiming in here Kris. Raven and I were talking about this earlier and I was going to reach out to you about updating the Fellowship Programme, I figured you'd have no objection to adding this
Raven, while both of these descriptions look good -- what, in practice, is going to be the difference between them? Are associates just for allies/better related regions? And regarding conflicting times, I say we see what/who get it and take it from there. I trust we can stretch everyone just thin enough without crushing their souls

Absolutely. The very point of the Fellowship Programme is to offer involvement opportunities. I just ask for a couple of hours before adding the MoFA section, since I am currently updating the text of the thread, mainly but not limited to the MoRA parts.

Associates would be more senior officials, my version of the RA Advisory Council and Directors. Try as I might, I can't keep up with every foreign affairs event that happens and ideally, said group would be those who are in place to brief me. They would also serve as lead officials to treaty allies, or certain regions which are known to be influential.

(I removed SPSF stuff, but will add it once we have an MoA, again.) Lemme know if you're ready R and I'll mass TG that out

Raven,
I have updated the Fellowship Programme thread and added the Ministry. I was a bit confused by the Associates, specially since you compared them to the MoRA Advisory Council, which is appointed, not recruited from newcomers. I added only the Diplomatic Service as a temporary measure, but would appreciate some clarification from you on the role of the Associates, so I can include an accurate description of them, if necessary. Thanks! Former Delegate of the South Pacific

Thanks, Kris. I'll sort something soon.
