Court Justices inactive; Special Election Called
by Feirmont

Court Justice Llamas and Chief Justice Gustave-Berr have lost their positions in the High Court due to inactivity, bringing the total number of Justices to two.

By the charter of the Coalition of the South Pacific; article 4, section 1.1:
“The High Court shall consist of four Court Justices.”

As the High Court is not in compliance with the Charter, the two remaining Court Justices, Awe (Awesomiasa) and acting Chief Justice Farengeto have put all High Court processes on hold until the two new members are elected.

Therefore, a special election has been called, and nominations are open.

To make a nomination, or to nominate yourself, the thread for the special election can be found here.

The nomination period will be from the 31st of January at 4pm to the 3rd of February at 4pm. Elections begin on the 6th of February at 4pm and will close on the 9th of February at 4pm (all times Eastern Standard Time).
