Creating a "Ministry of Gameside Affairs"

The following amendments to the Charter shall be considered.

Quote:Article 6: Executive

Section 1 - Cabinet and Powers of the Cabinet


1. The Cabinet shall consist of senior and junior members.
2. The senior Cabinet members shall be the Delegate, Vice Delegate, Minister of Foreign Affairs, Minster of Regional Affairs, Minister of Gameside Affairs, Minister of the Army, and Chair of the Assembly.

Section 6 - Ministry of Gameside Affairs
1. The Ministry of Gameside Affairs will be led by the Minister of Gameside Affairs.
2. The Ministry is responsible for representing in the Cabinet the interests of those who are members of the regions, but elect to not join the forums.
3. The Ministry is responsible for notifying the game-side of legislative proposals in the Assembly, along with other Assembly business, explaining the happenings of the Assembly, and briefing the Assembly on the happenings of the game-side community.
4. The Minister of Gameside Affairs shall be subject to special election procedures defined in the Code of Laws.

5. The Minister of Gameside Affairs will be elected by plurality through a game-side poll, using the WA & Influential criteria. Citizenship shall not be required when voting for the Minister of Gameside Affairs.
6. Elections for Minister of Gameside Affairs shall follow normal election procedure, except that nominations and campaigns must occur on the game-side community, with nominations being sent to the official TSP Election Commission nation.

Article 2: Recall Procedures


1. The Assembly may recall any elected or appointed official. The Minister of Gameside Affairs may additionally be recalled by the game-side community.
2. Discussions on a recall motion will occur for at least five days.
3. A recall motion requires at least a second to be brought to a vote, unless either the original motion or the second has been withdrawn.
4. The official is recalled should 75% of votes cast in favor of such, with recalls of the Minister of Gameside Affairs taking place through a game-side poll using the WA & Influential criteria.

It requires 75% support for passage - five days for voting. Voting ends 1:00 AM, Feb 24, 2015.

At 74.07%, this vote has failed by a hair.

I notice a non-citizen vote, probably due to a mistake in permissions, so the percentage is slightly lower by about 1%. Not much, but just for the record.

Posts outside High Court venues should be taken as those of any other legislator.
I do not participate in the regional server, but I am happy to talk through instant messaging or on the forum.

I would have voted for this and apologize as I had a very busy week and lost track of things. Would there be a way to bring this back into consideration?
