Resident Spotlight: Sanden
#1

***MoRA Resident Spotlight***

Interview Publication Date: 01 December 2013
Interviewee: Sanden
Interviewer: Escade

Our interviewee today, Sanden, is a Z-Day hero who regularly frequents the RMB. They are also someone to look out for in future NS political field and I hope they join the government, as a deputy at least, this coming term!

1. How did you learn about Nation States? What enticed you to join?

I remember hearing about Nation States quite a while ago. But it was 2-3 months ago that it was brought up again, which is when I created my nation. I always loved the concept of running my own nation the way I saw fit, and this was the perfect place to do so.

2. How long have you been in the South Pacific?

I've been in the South Pacific the entire time. Frankly I received so many telegrams in the first 5 minutes asking me to move that I just ignored all of them and I just decided to stay where I was for the time being. But after awhile, I decided I really liked it here, and I don't think I'll be moving.

Ever since the new recruitment features started, the number of TGs any new nation (or puppet) gets are astounding. That's why there's the filter button in settings Wink I'm glad you're staying here Smile

3. What do you like most about being a resident of TSP?

I love the friendly and open nature of the region. Everyone is so accepting of new ones. I also enjoy reading the RMB everyday just to see whats going on, and occasionally I'll throw in my own thoughts.

4. If you were delegate of TSP for a day what would you do?

If I were a delegate? Frankly, I wouldn't know what to do. I'd probably spend most of my time just figuring out what I was supposed to do as a delegate. The vainly try to carry out those duties in a rather awkward manner. But who knows? I may be delegate some day... Tounge

You know I never thought I would ever be running for delegate of a region and yet here I am! The region is welcoming of new players who want to make things happen Smile

5. Cake or pie? Why?

Cake. Definitely. I've always loved cake, and I probably always will. I've just never liked pie.

Yes! *Does a "Cake for the Win dance"

6. Favorite book, movie, or game?

I'd have to say that my favorite game would be Team Fortress 2. By a long shot.

7. What is the significance behind your nation's name?

To be honest, when I was making my nation, I had no idea what to call it. So I just used my last name. Not very complex at all now is it?

8. Finally, what did you think of Z-day apocalypse? In a real zombie apocalypse, what would you do first?

I LOVED Z-Day. It was such a blast! I was at times literally checking on my nation every 2 minutes. I really hope there might be something like it again. The collaboration, systematically eradicating/curing zombies was great. I will never forget it, and hopefully no one else will either. Still with Bel hadn't turned his back on us though... but it was fun crushing his empire.

I do think Z-Day will be an annual NS event (fingers crossed). Next time we will be even better prepared!
Thank you and great applause to Sanden for an awesome interview and for being extremely patient with me Smile
