Resident Spotlight: PenguinPies
#1

***MoRA Resident Spotlight***

Interview Publication Date: 26 January 2014
Interviewee: PenguinPies
Interviewer: Escade

Our interviewee today, PenguinPies is an amazing TSPer who has been the Dean of TSP University, a General in the NSA, and runs the biggest pie cartel in all of the South Pacific. In fact, her interests include, "world domination via penguins and pies" and if she added "kittens and cake" to the mix I think the world would be altered by its very fabric.
She's funny and very cool:

1. How did you learn about Nation States? What enticed you to join?

I first heard of NS back in '05. I had a nation and such and it was really nifty but due to conflicts IRL it CTE'd on me and I can't for the life of me remember it. However I got back into NS in '11 and have been at it ever sense.
What enticed me to join? Well I could be as evil as I wanted and make everyone eat pie if I felt like it Smile not really but it seemed like a good idea at the time. Smile

EVIL PIE!!! Tounge

2. How long have you been in the South Pacific?

I have been in TSP since early '12 if my recollection is correct. And it is Rebel's fault. :-p

So we have Rebel to thank!

3. What positions have you held in TSP and which term\position was your favorite?

Well, I was MoFA for a term. I ran for VD under Hile last June. I was a General in the NSA and think I'm still a part of it, I’ll have to look into that. I ran The Lampshade Bar & Grill for a bit. I am Dean of TSPU which is by far my favorite. I love the intellectuality of it and the inclusiveness that I feel it evokes.

4. Cake or pie? Why?

Is this a trick question? :-P Pie will Always win!! Happywide

5. Favorite book, movie, or game?

My favorite book.... this is by far the hardest question on this list. There are too many to name. But Gone With the Wind is on the list. Harry Potter (5 is the best) The Outsiders by S.E. Hinton. I read almost everything and ALWAYS have a book with me.

I love HP and The Outsiders!

My favorite movie depends on the mood I’m in and if I want to see people dead or people in love.

XD

As for the game I like Red Rover Smile and CIV 4 and Hopscotch along with Adult Pong and Fall Out New Vegas. I just got my Xbox Live account up so I' having fun with that Smile

6. What is the significance behind your nation's name?

I like Penguins and I like pie. So saith so beith.

7. Where do you see TSP in 10 years?

Hopefully in the #1 spot and even better than it is now Smile

TSP will rule NS and all will bow before us! ....I mean that in a nice way Tounge

Do you realize you skipped #8?

I had to check like twice to make sure Smile

Numbers thwart me again! Or perhaps questions #8 and its answers were suppressed...

9. If you were delegate of TSP for one day, what would you do?

Grant everyone a single wish that would be true for the day as long as it was sane and reasonable. I wouldn't let people do stupid harmful things but if I wanted to turn a person into a hamster I could. In all seriousness I would more than likely do my best to try and make TSP better by getting more people involved and go off on how awesome TSP is and how much we have to offer.

Yes, I can imagine turning some TSPers into hamsters would be funny and relieve stress. *Imagines*

10. What are some of the highlights of you residence in TSP? (Good or bad).

Hum.... how much TSP has both grown and stayed the same since I got here. I miss the people who used to be but I am looking forward to getting to know the people who are now.

Yay!

Anything else that you'd like to share? Especially about how you became leader of the biggest pie cartel in TSP?

If I told you how I got that power I would have to also put you somewhere no one would ever find you :-p

*Escade blinks and wonders about the penguin in a blue tux that's been hanging around.*

I love TSP. I think we could all do without the drama llama that likes to show its ugly head but what would TSP be without it really?

Yes, drama is a TSP staple but maybe it can get sweeter Smile
Thank you and great applause for PenguinPies for an awesome, funny interview and here's to TSP growing!
