Meet the Government Unibot
#1

This is an old spotlight that has just been dug up. This from when Unibot was running for another term as CoA, we hope you enjoy!

Have you enjoyed your time in as Chair of the Assembly?

Oh yes, absolutely. It's been an honour and pleasure to lead discussions and have a direct impact on legislation.

What would you do differently if you could this term?

I like Tsunamy's idea of more transparency, we have to end this sort of natural antagonism between the government and the public. Likewise, I'm not planning to enter into this term with any major 'reform projects' - I think I've done that last term. This term I want to focus on fixing what problems may have arisen with our latest reforms and tightening parts of the law that are currently causing issues, especially 'grey areas' present in the judicial code.

What would you say is your biggest achievement as Chair of the Assembly?

The creation of the Local Council - that's an institution which I suspect will outlive me in The South Pacific. It was a compromise which I think took the best of both of the popular proposals, Glen-Rhodes's and Hopolis's, and made something beautiful, simple but contributive. It'll service a real need for more connection between our forum and game side.

What would you say to someone who said you were an excellent Chair of the Assembly?

Thank you. Thank you so much. It's a tough job and I appreciate all of the support I get as Chair.

What would you say to someone who said you were an awful Chair of the Assembly?

You want to complain about me? Back in line! Wait your turn.

Why did you run for another term?

Because I don't feel as though my job is finished yet as Chair. There's still work to be done and I want to see through several projects I was working on as chair through to the point where we have the 'kinks' as they say, worked out. I love my work here in TSP and I'd really love to serve another term as Chair, if not now, then some other time for sure.

Finally and most importantly of all, Cake or Pie?

Depends on what kind. You see if it's pumpkin pie versus fruit cake, I think a pack of sardines might be able to beat fruit cake, let alone pumpkin pie. Whereas a strong strawberry cheesecake would beat out quiche any day of the week.
