Nominations for High Court Justices |
As the Election Commissioner for this election, I'm not about to ignore the Code of Laws. Elections will be run as legally mandated.

The EC has a rather large amount of leeway in regards to this set of elections, but they have to be compliant with the law. The point is that if the law is unclear, it's the job of the EC to clarify it. Not everybody comes away from the law with the same understanding. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
You know, why not? I think it's high time I started doing something around here. I hereby submit my name for consideration.
Might be a little late, but I'm noticing GE never posted any CoI declaration.
Indeed he hasn't. In view of this fact, he has been removed from the list of candidates.

I imagine it is no big deal, but someone spelt Belschaft's name wrong and people have been copy and pasting that post for their ballot, so there's a lot of "Belscafts" in the lead.
I guess Belscaft will be a judge, then. Sucks for Belschaft.

So considering there are three people running, if "RON" gets more votes than two candidates, then what?
I'm just curious. As much as I enjoy these half-legislated ideas, this is starting to get silly.
In this election RON is not likely to get more votes than any of the four candidates. I would suggest that we amend the Code of Laws to clarify the election procedures nonetheless.
