Noctenos would be eager to assist in the R&D of such weapons with whatever may be necessary.
Space-to-space weapons are pretty interesting. Nowadays, artificial satellites are vital for any practical kind of communication over large distances. Precise strikes with space-to-space weapons can instantly cripple an aggressors' exchange of orders and information, giving us the edge we may need to defend ourselves with as little collateral damage as possible.
Ground-to-space reentry weapons aren't that uncommon, and most nations with nukes in TSP probably alredy have them. Single warheads are generally prefered by militaries with limited budgets due to the smaller amount of radioactive material needed. Multiple warheads are more costly due to the big ammounts of radioactive material needed, but each warhead can be aimed at different targets and can overpower anti-missile systems with sheer numbers. Plus, no singular warhead can match the might of a concentrated strike of many. Morality is applied in much the same way as normal nuclear bombs.
Space-to-ground weapons aren't really that practical because of the reasons I mentioned in my previous post, namely ammunition and recoil.
Either way, space weapons are something the UF/CESTA should look into if we are to properly fend off attacks.
