Oh my god, do you understand sarcasm? And do you ever think maybe Punchwood has feelings and people can make him upset?

Oh tsu, you will get some negative comments. But guys leave him alone now, you can't just keep attacking him about it.

But this isn't about me so I'll try not to post here agian. Guys you're not getting anywhere here so I recommend you agree to disagree and forget about this.

I apologize Punch, I thought you were piling on.

One person said in one comment how your delegacy seemed inactive. One comment in a one-hour panel, and you have taken it as an insult on you and your delegacy. You are a politician now, and criticism comes with the job.

I have been there, both as delegate and as admin, and you know as well as I do that there is no point of comparison between the kind of criticism admins have faced in the past and a one-line comment in a panel that didn't even focus on the topic of your delegacy.

Nobody is saying criticism shouldn't affect you, but just as you can call things as you see them, so can others.

Kris -- you're missing the point of my posts. And, while I appreciate the kind words from TAC and Awe, my goal here isn't for this to be a fishing expedition for compliments.

This isn't a problem as to whether or not I was inactive or wasn't inactive. Heck, I admitted in my platform that I didn't have the time to dedicate this past term as I would have liked. I don't disagree with the criticism.

What you're missing is that there is no difference between this event and what goes on everyday on the forums, in IRC and in the game. We communicate in the same way. Just because it's decided that this group interview is devoted to "criticism," it still comes across as backbiting.

This will be the last time I open this thread because I don't want to protract a debate where I already I know I'm coming across as whiny. But, I encourage us to see each other as people -- not politicians. I don't want to be in a region where we are all politicians first and fellow citizens of the region second.
