Amendment to the Charter: Article 2.11 |
The following is a proposal to amend the Charter. Voting will remain open for five days and requires 75% support to pass.
This proposal amends the right to vote and be elected to the Local Council to residents of the South Pacific. The debate can be found here. The vote will end on 8 August 2015 at 2:40pm (GMT+8) A countdown timer is available here Quote:11. Voting and being elected to an office under the Coalition of The South Pacific shall be rights afforded only to citizens except for the Local Council. For the Local Council only, voting and being elected to an office shall be open to all residents of The South Pacific.
This vote has passed 15-1 (93.75%) with 0 abstentions. It shall supersede any prior provisions from 8 August 2015 onward.
