Last Thursdayism is the assertion that all existence sprang into being this past Thursday, with all memories of sentient beings created in situ. The Universe, and everything in it, was created last Thursday, along with our (false) memories of everything that happened prior to that. Another common belief, known as Last Tuesdayism, is considered wrong.

Quote:November 6: A car bomb explodes loaded with 25 kg of explosive goes off in Madrid, injuring 100 people. The bomb was targeted at Juan Junquera, secretary general of the Spain's scientific police, who was only slightly injured. The blast also caused great damage around the area.

Using some facts from my mother(my family was in Spain at that time, I had some months of being alive), it is possible that I was in Madrid around that time. Possible.

That is very interesting. I was on the day of a bombing. Not in the physical area of the bombing, but in an audible range.

Good thing I was only some months old then, or I would have gone through a trauma or something!

I still wonder what was the cause of the arbitrary choice of Thursday.

You are questioning my belief and I feel deeply offended. I will now proceed to furiously make Facebook posts concerning it.

Mandatory random fact:
Shark finning yields are estimated at 1.44 million metric tons for 2000, and 1.41 million tons for 2010. Based on an analysis of average shark weights, this translates into a total annual mortality estimate of about 100 million sharks in 2000, and about 97 million sharks in 2010, with a total range of possible values between 63 and 273 million sharks per year.
