After slightly delayed taxiing off the runway and minor visa issues, the trip from the airport to the Marina Hotel was relatively uneventful. After arriving several staff took their bags and security lead the Prime Minister, Foreign Minister and Officials up to the Douglas Room. They walked into the room finding Darkstrait only slightly beat them. David Gurnin and Rebecca Faulnstar greeted the other leaders while the Officials just waved.

Pierre Sankara put on his sunglasses as he disembarked from the Antonov surrounded by his Red Jujus bodyguards. They rushed to get in the cars, which then brought them from the Airport to the Summit. Sankara remained silent during the trip, deep in his thoughts. The presence of the Bruuman delegation had been ground for a power struggle between the various factions of the Party and the Armed Forces that delayed the final decision. He taught the die was cast when the plane took off from Bayougrad, but then the news of Sporaltryus' retirement from the S.S.U. reached him on landing. Now the political scenario of Summit was a mystery. He grabbed the secure-lined phone and made a call "Comrade Minister Sankara speaking. I must consult with the Eternal Leader".

Vasser, Recker and Meyer were lounging around the Marina Hotel when they received word that they could proceed to the Douglas Room, where the opening session was to be held that same night. It didn't take long for them to get together and get through security, so with final heavy sighs and determined gazes, they all stepped past the huge doors and into the conference room.

After some time in the hotel, President Kerenskiy and Ministers Van Heyden and Kyrzinski were informed that they could proceed to the Douglas Room. The three men were optimistic; they thought that war was less likely to happen, due to Sporaltryus losing its influence. Kyrzinski was especially happy; this summit could finally lead to peace, and also, his protégée, Mrs. Harkinyan, was only a few votes away from becoming Council Secretary of the SPTO.
With that in mind they entered the Douglas Room.

The Qvaitican delegation looked at the people walking in and signaled the delegations of Darkstrait, Noctenos, and Zadiner to be next to them.

General Rey and his delegation marched into the Douglas room, taking their seats. Though his forces had largely stood down and pulled back Rey still possessed the "nuclear football", held by one of his aides, a fact he mad sure the Ryccian delegation knew.
"I can't believe they actually let them in." he muttered to one of his delegates. "Let's get this over with."
At the Qvaitican table, the President and his fellow Secretaries were looking around for some time. Right when the delegation from Farengeto arrived, Secretary Cutter took his black briefcase and opened it, grabbing some lined-paper, a pen, and a typed statement. He was intent on being the second person to say something at the summit.
