Quote:Great Council Act of 2015

1. In accordance with Article 11.2 of the Charter, a Great Council has been called.
2. The Great Council will begin in the first week of October 2015 and will continue until a simple majority vote to adjourn passes.
3. The Chair of the Assembly will be responsible for all administrative tasks relating to the Great Council, such as putting motioned proposals to vote and moderating debate threads. The Chair will also be responsible for compiling all new laws resulting from the Great Council.
4. All special elections, ongoing or otherwise, are to be suspended until the end of the Great Council, unless said position ceases to exist.
5. Should the need to fill a vacant position arise, the Cabinet may appoint a replacement to serve until the completion of the Great Council, without Assembly approval.
6. Should no Cabinet member remain, the highest individual in the line of Succession will become Acting Delegate, and will be granted the powers given in Article 5 of this resolution.
7. This resolution expires and will be null and void upon the conclusion of the Great Council.

Note: As there is no specific provision regarding the voting period and threshold for Assembly Resolutions, it will be considered as a General Law in accordance with Article 3.1.4 and 3.1.11 of the Charter, mandating a 3-day voting period and a 50%+1 threshold for the vote to pass, which is in line with precedent set by past Chairs of the Assembly.
