High Court election tossup - 30 October 2015
#2

GREAT COUNCIL -- Our sister publication, Southern Journal, has some great coverage of the Great Council, so we've decided to promote their article over writing our own.

High Court election toss-up

Less than a day of voting is left in the special election to fill former Chief Justice ProfessorHenn’s spot on the High Court, and the result so far is a toss-up. Sandaoguo, former Minister of Foreign Affairs and one-time Chair of the Assembly, is running against newcomer SeanNadasky, who failed to secure a spot in the last High Court general election.

Even though SeanNadasky has seemingly chosen to not campaign this time around, he has secured 3 votes. Given the lack of campaigning from SeanNadasky and Sandaoguo’s history of wading into controversy, it’s turned into a toss-up. SPINN’s tally has the race at:

Sandaoguo5
Reopen Nominations4
SeanNadasky4

Our count differs from the public record because we assume the nominees will or have already voted for themselves.

SPINN wants your comments! What has motivated your vote for this special election?
