Field Reporters
#1

In an attempt to include more people into the SPSF, both gameplayers and role-players, I've been considering adding a rank known as "Field Reporters".
Because I'm lord awful at creative writing and the likes, these reporters would be in charge of writing raid reports similar to the ones in this thread. Along with that they could write anything from updates, to interviews with soldiers, and whatever else they want to.
They'd probably be given the SPSF masking and could see missions and updates as they progress.

Before I put this into place, I'd like to know from both soldiers and civilians on what they think of this idea, and if they have any changes/critiques!

I love it. I believe its a great idea. Because we would need people whom are able to write this in a fun, creative and RP manner. We would need those that could give a more comprehensive report on our exploits than the Southern Journal.

That being said, as Depite I offer myself to be one of the reporters.

I have been recruited by Siberian to do this, but I just want to see how my first one is received before I make this a permanent gig. I just PMed one to Siberian. It mentions Sun Tzu's work.

Probably because the Southern Journal would report on overall SPSF activity, rather than on the specifics of missions with the objective of encouraging interest. I mean this in the best possible sense, just to avoid any misunderstandings. If Siberian is interested, I would be more than happy to discuss cooperation with the MoRA Media Office.

The field reporters chosen would be given SPSF masking and would be privy to information a soldier would. I'm not sure I'd want more people to have wha they do have, when opsec is as light as it is now.

I've decided to follow through with this idea, and will be in contact with people about writing for the SPSF. At the moment I'd like to have a maximum of 3 field reporters, and we'll increase and decrease as time goes by.
