Gulp...

Plox no...

No meetings forum people when minor, plox...

Anyways, first tip: Speak Spanish.

Second tip: "Naranjas"(fruit) in Puerto Rico is "Chinas"

Third tip: Stay safe!

Fourth tip: El Morro and San Cristobal Castle are really good historical sites! Nothing in Ponce! Hehe! *Starts to sweat*

Fifth tip: There are a lot of fast food restaurants here. A LOT. Especially in the cities. From what I've seen, even the most unpopulated and underdeveloped towns have a fast food place here.

Sixth tip: I hear the beaches of Aguadilla/Aguada/that area are really good for surfers! If you want calmer waves, go to... to... NOT the south. *Sweats even more*. I do not guarantee quality in public beaches, just in resorts.

Seventh tip: Portuguese foods are not really the norm here. If you want some kind of international, non-local food, go to the fancy restaurants. If you want local food, go to a local establishment nearby!

No, I am actually being totally serious. I'm going to Puerto Rico. So, let me get this straight? Most cool stuff is in the South, specifically Ponce, eh?

Hm, I already know about the abundant number of fast food places. Do you have any tips on local cosine? Do you guys have churrascos often? Tounge

The speaking Spanish part will be pretty interesting, but I'll make do. As for waves, I'm not much of a surfer, but are there any good diving spots?

Also, relaaaaaax. It's not as if I am going to go out of my way just to find you, right?

...Right?

Nope. Being serious, Old San Juan and the metropolitan city accompanying it is a key tourist centre.

But if you want to go to a city that has little to no tourist centres compared to the north, welcome!(We even have a Starbucks that will open soon in Plaza del Caribe, a very important southern mall, but not as important as Plaza Las Americas, the biggest mall of the Caribbean, or so I heard. Its in San Juan)

Churrascos? Yes, but not that often. My sister likes it, but I don't really know if its very popular. However, to my point of view, it is a food that is eaten here, but it is not very popular compared to other local cuisine.

We have tostones, mofongo, lechón(which is roasted pig, I think, but I don't eat it), bacalao, pollo(aka chicken), something called amarillitos, arañitas, empanadillas, etc. To be honest, Im not very cultural. I don't have a diet that involves local cuisine very often, so I may not know much. Sorry, amigo!

Also, warning, the common folk can be very vulgar in language. Im not like that, but the common citizenry tends to be way off in language.

Diving spots? I don't know really. There is one I know about a little here in the south, but Idk really. Sorry!

We have a rainforest, El Yunque, that is very diverse, but, compared to your Amazon, very tiny.

Harmless wildlife compared to Brazil. So feel safe in terms of wildlife. Here, one of the most "dangerous" common things is bees, although I hear that monkeys appear, but very rarely, and they do in rural areas.

Also forgot, but this is very obvious anyway.

Puerto Rico uses US Dollars as currency, and no one will accept Reales here. Show them a Real for payment, and people will not understand you. So you better start exchanging currency when you go.

No problem! Have a nice stay! Happywide
