Due to an administrative error, the threshold for the designation of a Prohibited Group was stated as 50%+1. This is incorrect. The threshold for the designation of the Prohibited Group is 60%, as defined by Article 7.8 of the Code of Laws, which states as follows:

Quote:8. Regions at war with The South Pacific or with which The South Pacific is at war shall be automatically considered Prohibited Groups. The Assembly may further designate Prohibited Groups via a vote with a 60% majority in favor, should the Cabinet and/or CSS request such a designation. The Assembly may rescind a Prohibited Group designation via a vote with a 60% majority in favor.
The Deputy Chair of the Assembly apologises unreservedly for this error, noting however that the error will not affect the outcome of the removal of the New Pacific Order (NPO) from the list of Prohibited Groups, as the relevant bill was passed with 83.33% approval, higher than the 60% threshold required by legislation.
