Hello Members! At noon tomorrow (CDT) I will be completely offline. Until Starting at midnight tonight (CDT) Zak will be acting chair. Please continue regular business* and I will let y'all know when I return (likely around 20:00 CDT on June 14th). Also if all members could vote in the primary as soon as possible that would be great. Thank you!

*Discus but don't vote on anything in the summit until I am back please. Primaries are not part of the summit.
Above all else, I hope to be a decent person.

Good evening members. I have 2 things tonight for y'all.
1st I would like to say we have a party discord (link in op of this thread). It would be great I y'all could all get on it as it would help us facilitate communication a bit easier.
2nd and this is the important on. I have, since it's founding, been in constant communication with TIL. One of my goals is to make sure the parties find ways to work together. I am not giving allegiance to them and I am not pledging our support to anything the party has not approved.
Thank you and have a great night,
Omega

Good evening. Earlier today a story broke that we were block voting for @Punchwood in the LC election. This is true and Punchwood has recived majority support from this party and our endorsement. We belive that he holds true to our beliefs and would a tremendous asset in the region in whatever capacity he serves in.
Thank you an good night,
Omega

From the Desk of the Chairman of the APCRC

On the Amendment to the Charter regarding the dissolution of treaties

Good evening members and fellow citizens of TSP. The Assembly currently has before it an amendment that will decide who has power. The APC Platform currently has in it "The people should have the power to overturn any Cabinet decision.". We believe that dissolving a treaty is a Cabinet decision the Assembly should be able to make the final decision on. We would like to add though that the Cabinet is elected and we, as a party, will also take into strong consideration the recommendation of the Cabinet, especially the Minister of Foreign Affairs, in any matter regarding Foreign Affairs.

However, it is because of the belief in popular sovereignty of this party that we will be support the amendment as proposed by Ryccia. As always we encourage members though to read legislation and come their own opinion on if they will support the legislation or not.

Good afternoon. The summit having recently ended, I would like to say is has gone very well and I am excited to see how the new platform and structure of the party will allow us to have even more success in the future. One thing though I would like us to begin focusing on as a party is recruitment. That is why, without objection, I would like to ask the party please accept my nomination that Griffindor be put in charge of recruiting for the APC. Voting on if the nomination wil be confirmed will be in this thread. Only members may vote. Vote aye, nay or abstain. Once a 2/3 majority is reached voting will close.

AYE
