Reinstatement of Belschaft Citizenship
#111

Maybe by not suggesting that the Cabinet is delaying/ignoring this matter, when they've only been in office for a few hours and most of them haven't logged in yet?

When did I say that? All I did was post a reminder.

You and I both know that the tone of your post carried that implication.

I would also like to point out the negative implications of 'more Cabinet approved tone'. This strikes me as mocking of the Cabinet, when Belschaft's point is very valid, given the lack of full-availability of the Cabinet immediately after an election.

Two separate matters entirely.

Both Bel and Awe do share in inferring quite a lot from such a simple statement, of that at least you are correct.

But Awe is more or less lightly threatening me, and that pisses me off. Such statements are probably not going to yield good results, although they are a fantastic way to get sarcastic comments out of me.

"I think the clock is ticking" was a pretty reasonable thing to say given that it was, in fact, ticking. Had the Cabinet not dealt with the issue on their first day in office, it would have gone to an Assembly vote.

Let's not turn Wolf into the new convenient whipping boy that the community can unite around demonizing over the tiniest things. Belschaft, of all people, should be above that by now given that he previously was that convenient scapegoat.

It was a bit rude Cormac. As far as I can see most Cabinet members had voted within a few hours of being elected, I'm sorry some of us have a life outside of NS. And now I think this thread could sink. Smile

It wasn't rude. You're reading rudeness into it because it's Wolf, and some of you don't like him, and others are ambivalent toward him but are fine with unnecessarily attacking him to score political points. Just the same old tired, petty crap in the South Pacific, different day.

As for the Cabinet, I wasn't actually criticizing how quickly they voted on the security threat designation. Neither was Wolf. He was just reminding the Assembly that if the Cabinet didn't get it done within 24 hours, it would go to vote in the Assembly. You're all reading too much into this and if you want the thread to sink, perhaps Awe, Belschaft, Cathalea, et al., shouldn't have spent several more posts attacking Wolf for literally nothing. Grow up.

This thread has been locked.
Belschaft's Security Status has been removed by the Cabinet.

His Citizenship App will be reviewed once I have access to do so.
