Quite frankly? Because Hammerstar has no obvious strategic value. Ryccia was a major, nuclear-armed power. Sporaltryus the same. Kringalia and Resentine share control of the historically important Kringalian Strait. Sedunn has an important place in intercontinental trade routs. These countries have a strategic value, and their annexation would make sense.

What does Hammerstar offer? And I don't mean that to belittle you. You have developed an amazing culture for your nation, excellent economic and cooperation ties with other nations, and I genuinely admire that. It's an example we should all emulate, a great show of soft power. But speaking strictly in terms of military strategy, there's no benefit to invading Hammerstar, when it's not that major a player in that kind of world affairs.

And in reference to why nobody invaded you in the preceding centuries, that's entirely up to you and your neighbours. If you say nobody invaded you, then nobody invaded you. An IC solution can be worked out, but without appealing to unrealistic situations. Maybe your past rulers were very astute in diplomacy, forging close ties with their neighbours. Maybe they made themselves economically valuable. Maybe they didn't invest that much in their military, but made sure to deploy seemingly strong detachments to their borders, so neighbouring countries would get the idea that an invasion would be too costly. There are ways to deal with it.

Or maybe there were invasions, skirmishes, military engagements, and that resulted in today's Hammerstar. It's really up to you, but we have to be reasonable about it. There's no reason you can't build a realistic history, if you let us all help. If you ask, I'm pretty sure everyone would be more than willing.

To second what Cathalea said, there's the simple principle of consensual RP. Unless you explicitly consented to having been invaded, the assumption is nobody invaded you. That applies to all of us. Hence Qwert's excellent idea to work on bilateral histories. Which reminds me I'd better work on mine. >_>

I'll go with the goal of being fluent diplomatically. But otherwise avoiding contacts (Not starting the diplomacy)
