An additional amendment an motion to vote on the following.

Quote:4. Local Council
(1) Immediately following the ending of the Cabinet elections, the Election Commission will begin an election for the Local Council.
a. For the first 3 days of the election period, residents may declare their candidacy by telegramming an election commissioner
b. Following this nomination period, a campaign period of one week will start, where candidates may campaign and debate the merits of their platforms.
c. After the week-long campaign period, a voting period of 3 days will start.

(2) The election will be held via a regional poll accessible to World Assembly Natives, instructing them to vote for their preferred candidate.

a. A Dispatch containing the campaigns of candidates will be created to aid voters in their choice.
b. The top three vote-getting candidates will win seats on the Local Council.
c. If more than 11 people are candidates, the vote will be split into two 3-day polls with the candidates split into groups; the top three of each group will then enter a final poll.

5. Vacancies of Office

I have no problem with this Amendment at all and second Tsunamy's motion to vote.

Can we clarify where the LC Nominations will take place, as well as campaigns?

I think Telegram the Delegate with your intention to run, and then update the WFE with the nominees.
Campaigning can be done via dispatches?
Then obv a poll for voting.

And thoughts on this?

I think it would be better to have a central nominations nation ("TSP Local Council Clerk" or something), unless Delegates get unlimited TGs. I don't remember if they do or not. I'm just wondering if TGs could be lost among all the other TGs Delegates get.

Idk if we want the delegate involved ... since the delegate shouldn't be involved with elections.

See the above change.

Telegramming an EC in the law and encourage sending to all 3 in practice just in case.

That makes sense.
Can we be specific on where the campaigning will be?
My fear is that the RMB will be horribly spammed during this time frame and people will not be too happy about it.

2(a) says we'll create a Dispatch. Do you want a line prohibiting campaigning on the RMB?

Also, think would have to be passed by the region at large, yes?
