Hello!

Welcome to Nomic, the Game to Change the Rules! Also known as Nomic the GCR in some circles. ;P

In this game, we take turns bringing forth proposals to debate and vote on, and if it passes, the rules are changed to accomodate! Anything can be done here, such as mandating everyone say "Hail Henn!" at the beginning of every Nomic post, with a 100 point penalty otherwise, but the trick is to get a majority of player to accept!

Many players here are unfamiliar with the game and have no experience. Myself included. The initial set is to start us all off, maybe next game we'll go blank.

I've played it a bunch, my experience is very much that starting with a blank-slate is easier for new players than using an established rule-set. What you've got there is the original instructions/proposal for the game, which is really not that much fun to play with.
