Request for policy
#1

Dearly elected government,

I'm unaware of you are following the administrations thread seeking input for a potential reorganization. The thread has taken a turn into what is a legitimate news organizations that deserves its own subforum.

Since the administration should not — as it has been made clear — be making such decisions, I'm officially requesting the Executive create a policy regarding new organizations.

Please note, the administration would like to limit the number the subforums and potential clutter from unused or forgotten forums.

We'll eagerly await the executive branch's decision.

The Cabinet has noted the request from the Administration Team, and has opened a discussion in the Cabinet Room to discuss.
I will keep everyone updated on the progress of the discussion.

Freedom of the press has always been a staple right in the history of the Coalition, guaranteed by nothing less than the Charter (Article III, Section 1). As such, it's not befitting for this Cabinet to pronounce judgements on the kind of presentation each news source deserves or is entitled to in our region, but rather the cabinet should be ensuring that any news source has the chance to fairly compete for the attention of the readership of the region.

Noting the above and considering the Administration's request to keep the forum count low, the Cabinet of the South Pacific recommends a single forum for all news sources. This approach is absolutely fair as no news source has an advantage over any other on the forums; simultaneously, the post count of news articles is not expected to become so excessive as to clutter up the first page of that forum for any regular visitor.

Thank you.

The Cabinet of the South Pacific

Above all else, I hope to be a decent person.

I'd also like to thank the Cabinet for this policy and the quickness in deciding this matter.
