Update lengths calibration guide

Update lengths calibration guide for
whatever tools that need it
Tools that find update times of regions to set triggers for example, such as Spyglass , calculate the update times of regions based on the update lengths of major and minor update. The process of providing update lengths for tools like this is called calibration. Some "developed-in-secret" tools have this done automatically however public tools like Spyglass need you to do it manually. This guide will provide information on how to do that properly.

A good, recommended method is to get the update lengths from regions that update very late in an update.
The update times of these regions can be used as the update lengths. Update times of these regions can be acquired by look at the time the nations in it update.

Step 1: Open the Activity page of a late-update region. (The list of regions that are good to get update lengths is below. This example will use Spear Danes). You should only turn on the Change filter since we don't need any other information. These are influence change event lines of nations, which are generated when nations in the region update. By getting the times these lines are generated, we can obtain the update time of the region.

Step 2: Click the timestamp (the "...hours ago" text before each of the event lines, the text in the black box above) to turn it into hh:mm:ss format time. You should get something like the image below.

Step 3: You should be done by now. Those timestamps are the the update times of nations in the region which in turn, are the update time of the region itself. You need to pick the correct times to use as update lengths depend on your time zone. For example, if you live in a region that use Eastern Standard Time, then timestamps with AM time need to be used as major update length and for timestamps with PM time, use as minor update lengths.
Tools like Spyglass require you to input the update lengths in seconds format so use a tool to convert hh:mm:ss time into seconds if you are too lazy. (This tool is good enough)

List of regions that are good to take update lengths:
Spear Danes
Doll Guldur
From the End
Domon Ord
A hole to hide in

Thanks, usoveitnam. This should be helpful to new recruits.
