Thanks for letting us know. [emoji14]

In all seriousness, if you change your mind I'm sure you can drop in later.

Through their inherent magical ability they are able to do this when they come into physical contact with whatever they are stealing sight from.  This is also how the bond is created.  It is has to be an active attempt, it does not happen at random.  Most people are safe from having their sight stolen given that stealing a human's sight (except under certain circumstances) will result in execution.

The summoning magic used by the Tenna kings under this system would be limited only to use in certain ceremonies and other events where it is required by tradition, they cannot just summon whatever they want willy-nilly.  They would also probably be required to study under the Order like the rest of the religious caste while still princes.  In other words, outside of ceremonial functions or the explicit permission of the Order, the kings have ceased the use of their magic.

Oh, okay that makes much more sense. Was a tad bit worried about the potential case of my own troops being blinded without getting into physical contact with the Yi in a hypothetical conflict which would suck for my own fire gunpowder troops who need their sight to know the optimal time to shoot/throw and cause maximum death and panic against enemy troops. Not that I'm planning to go to war against the Yi or anything. Personally establishing trade/ defense pacts may be more beneficial for the End
