Freedom of the press has always been a staple right in the history of the Coalition, guaranteed by nothing less than the Charter (Article III, Section 1). As such, it's not befitting for this Cabinet to pronounce judgements on the kind of presentation each news source deserves or is entitled to in our region, but rather the cabinet should be ensuring that any news source has the chance to fairly compete for the attention of the readership of the region.

Noting the above and considering the Administration's request to keep the forum count low, the Cabinet of the South Pacific recommends a single forum for all news sources. This approach is absolutely fair as no news source has an advantage over any other on the forums; simultaneously, the post count of news articles is not expected to become so excessive as to clutter up the first page of that forum for any regular visitor.

All I want to say is we are required to meet this. I am of course very much in favor of keeping the separate SJ and TIR subforums as those are used often. However, the other 2 need to actually be archived. And I am, of course, going to ask for SPN to be given a subforum but I am fairly okay with the current state of things.

Above all else, I hope to be a decent person.

Considering that Treasure Island District only contains one top-level forum, wouldn't it make sense to merge it with the Lampshade District?

As in the draft in the first pos, the idea is to have additional forums. But, I'm not exactly sure what was thought/intended with it, so I'm hesitant to add stuff until RP'ers share what they want.

I did was the quick/easy for the time being and am figuring we can flesh out the rest as we move on.
